The Truffle Ramen is super yum, but the pricing is almost twice as much as the Sunho. The Sunho's so good too! Quick service, and they are on it with the water and delivering the check. *They are tolerant of small yelling children smacking the table, slamming down hard just when you're not expecting it, should you need that accommodation. :D

Goma Tei is a tried a true fast ramen spot when you want ramen but don't want to wait forever. Very delicious rich broth(I love the Tan Tan), quick sitting, and friendly service. Hui was my server, she was very attentive and quick! Thank you for the great service and food.

Goma Tei Ramen has vegetarian options with vegetarian broth. Mainly their tan tan or shoyu and scallion broth. My family and I got the tan tan vegetarian ramen. It comes with wakame, soft boiled seasoned egg, and baby choy sum. The broth was good and it came with generous amount of wakame. The soft boiled season egg was done nicely. I wish there are additional veggies in the ramen. With that said, I would come back. :) My husband loved the curry + rice he got.

I've been here twice on two separate vacations, and it's always been a good time. It's also always packed. Japanese crispy won ton - 5/5 So crispy, so yummy. It was nice and warm. We finished this within 10 minutes! Dumpling tan tan men - 5/5 Very flavorful broth. But I should've gotten a different tan tan men if I already got the crispy won tons! Big portion Kakuni ramen (Braised pork) This was supposed to be udon on the menu, but we asked to sub it with ramen.

3.5 stars. Their tan tan noodles were delicious, savory and rich, but their truffle ramen was so underwhelming - I could barely taste any truffle flavor and the broth was meh; I wasn't entirely satisfied especially for that price. The chicken bites were delicious. Crispy; flavorful, juicy and hot! It's a great appetizer. Located at the ground floor of the mall on the outside east of the makai food court. Lots of parking spaces, you will find parking, just how far you have to park lol.

after the hawaiian airline debacle at the airport. I would say my pm experience in crisis management really helped. booked another tix to japan. using united so i can cancel within 24hrs just in case. had to book 2 days later as I was not paying over $1k for a tix. i end up cancelling the tix and book a flight back to sfo using united. be safe. no surprises at the airport. time variable eliminated. stay 2 more days. now book hotel for 2 nights. booked and checkin to ala moana hotel for 2 more days. walk to this place in the ala moana mall which is connected to the hotel sigh of relief... stress elimination? the noodles were really really good! the broth was rich and savory. sorry, didnt capture the pic with noodles pull out as well as the pork. the chicken wings was also really good. this meal really lifted my spirits. can eat the same japanese food here. no need for japan... in any case, prices are not bad in this mall. i think this is a local spot.
